What Arivo does

Arivo is a provider of digital parking solutions with a focus on License Plate Recognition (LPR). The cameras identify vehicle license plates with an accuracy of over 99.5% – even in cases of dirt, snow, wet conditions, or entry speeds of up to 70 km/h. Each license plate is read between 50 and 200 times before a decision is made; the recognition range is up to 40 meters.

Behind the hardware is the Arivo Parking OS: a flexible and powerful software that can be integrated into external systems via API. The system operates in full compliance with GDPR and eliminates the need for printed tickets and mechanically prone components – significantly reducing maintenance requirements and downtime.

Arivo is used in a wide variety of industries and location types: from parking garages and underground car parks to ski resorts and hospitals, as well as public parking areas in cities and municipalities.

What ParkEfficient contributes

ParkEfficient stores the license plates of all authorized users directly in the platform – automatically, as soon as a parking space is booked or an authorization is granted. When someone enters, Arivo reads the license plate and queries ParkEfficient in real time: Is this vehicle authorized? For which parking space? Until when?

The result of this query controls the barrier – without manual intervention, without delay. At the same time, ParkEfficient logs every entry and exit and makes the data visible in the dashboard: current occupancy, historical utilization, outliers, and patterns.

What the combination achieves

For users, it creates the best possible parking experience: they drive in – and the barrier opens. No further steps are necessary. This applies to employees with permanent access just as much as it does to guests who have booked a space in advance or to pool vehicles from the fleet.

For operators, all manual access management is eliminated. Transponders, key cards, issuing chips: all of this becomes redundant. The infrastructure becomes leaner, administrative effort decreases, and access data is fully digitally evaluable for the first time.
