What Smart City System does
With its ParkAgent platform, Smart City System develops a software-based alternative to traditional barrier systems. Vehicles are automatically identified via ANPR upon entry and exit, entry/exit displays communicate tariffs and status, and payment is handled flexibly via app, web, QR code, or pay station. Modules for revenue overview, unauthorized parking validation, tariff management, and customer support run in real-time on the same platform. Developed and hosted in Germany, GDPR-compliant, and built on a software-first approach rather than hardware dependency.
What ParkEfficient contributes
ParkEfficient handles the allocation: users reserve their parking space digitally in advance—for a specific time, a specific area, at the touch of a button. This reservation is added to the system as a whitelist entry, including the license plate number. Upon entry, Smart City System reads the license plate, and ParkEfficient matches it against the existing reservation. All processes can be tracked and analyzed in the dashboard.
